New Introductory Course Starting

Explore these questions and more, and learn some practical skills for answering them. Join us for a short course in Practical Philosophy – a place for considered conversation and self-discovery.

Cultural Day
The School will be hosting a ‘cultural day’ at the Visitors Pavilion in Barton. A varied program of interesting topics presented by speakers from the Canberra school and other schools around Australia. Program to be advised.
When: Sunday 14 November 8:30 am
“Weekend Philosophers”
In addition to the Free Public Lecture, the school offers weekend sessions of general interest to students and the public alike. All welcome. Most Saturdays at 10.30 am.
Venue: The Visitors Pavilion, Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, Charles Sturt University (15 Blackall St, Barton — UBD/Yellow Pages map 59 J13)
Cost: $10 (or a donation) to help cover the cost of the venue hire. Includes morning tea.
Weekend Program
Dr David Pfanner, long-time friend of the School, will give a presentation on the life of the Buddha. This will be a fascinating talk about Buddha and also about village practices in Burma, where David lived for some time.
